Description

The Microplate illuminator is a next generation device designed for the sequential illumination of wells in a microtitre plate to assist with manual pipetting.

The unit has a small footprint and receives its power via a USB cable by which it also communicates with its software which resides on a separate PC.

The unit is designed for use in North America and Europe and is CE marked.

Operation

The software on the PC is used to select one of three operating modes

In manual mode, 96 wells are illuminated in turn, either one well, or one column, or one row at a time

In custom mode a sub-set of wells is defined and illuminated one well at a time

In all modes the user steps through the sequence using either a fascia mounted button or a footswitch.
