How will I be involved?

Your level of involvement with a project at ITL, be that development or manufacture, is your choice. It will be vital that there is a close relationship between us at the start of a project, but from there on you may choose to leave it to us, or be directly involved on-site with the project. Most Clients find a middle ground is appropriate. However you choose to work with us, you can be sure that we will identify an immediate point-of-communication for you and will ensure that your needs are satisfied with respect to progress reporting.

Do I need to complete the whole product life-cycle with you?

No, you can choose to work with us to develop your ideas and complete the whole process to volume manufacture, or undertake any stage of the process with us. ITL has a flexible approach to undertaking development phases and ensuring that your development is timed to match your market evaluation and funding as appropriate.

What makes you different?

Quite simply we are different because we are able to complete both design and manufacturing functions. This means we have a symbiotic relationship between the two areas. With over thirty years of experience we can be sure that design and development is undertaken with a view to manufacturing, and that manufacturing benefits from problem solving and new model development with in-house design and development. We are one of the very few companies where you will not have to transfer your product from design with one company to manufacturing in another.

What are you doing with regard to exploiting new technologies?

The rapidly expanding business at ITL has enabled us to launch an initiative to consider joint commercialisation of brilliant new ideas for products in the diagnostic and medical market. If you are interested in approaching us with regard to an emerging technology that requires instrumentation please contact us.

Your idea will be initially evaluated by a team of experienced personnel from the engineering, manufacturing and marketing departments under a confidentiality agreement. The aim is to agree mutually beneficial commercial terms for progress. Once a route forward has been agreed ITL will then undertake an in-depth evaluation process and agree contractual terms.
