Systems Engineering
ITL knows that complex instruments are only successful when all their components work together to make a complete system that meets defined requirements.
ITL employs Systems Engineers with knowledge and experience across all relevant disciplines. They work with you to understand the instrument requirements, functionality and scope and to express this as a formal set of performance requirements.
Following on from this, ITL Systems Engineers work with the Design Team to ensure that the mechanics, electronics, software and other aspects such as fluids, optics, thermals, magnetics and chemistry all combine to give the required performance.
The systems engineers are involved at all stages of the research, design and development process, including:
-
Definition of System Requirements Specification
-
Concept design
-
Definition of module requirements for each discipline
-
Overview of detailed design
-
Build and integration of modules and complete system
-
Commissioning of system
-
Type-testing of system against its requirements
-
Customer Acceptance testing of each complete instrument
- Support of your needs during development
