With 30 years of experience in the design of software from real-time instrument control firmware to high level application software with Graphical User Interfaces, ITL can support instrumentation designed in-house or by a third party.

We have programming language expertise in MS Visual C++, MS Visual Basic and Borland Builder C++.

Client/Server Relational Database systems have been implemented using SQL Anywhere as well as non Client/Server database applications using, for example, Access. Expert Systems, Epidemiology and fully-flexible report generation have been added where appropriate to further enhance end-user functionality and flexibility.

Target operating systems include Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, QNX and Windows CE (Pocket PC).

In addition to Client/Server connectivity we have enabled the integration of our instrumentation to laboratory information systems via ASTM protocols and standards. DCOM has been used in non-medical applications.

We are happy to use our skills on projects for which ITL has not designed the hardware and on which you wish to collaborate with an external software sub-contractor who has a good understanding of instrumentation.
