IVD Instrument Design

An in-vitro diagnostics company with an innovative Point-of-Care technology for rapid and quantitative near-patient immunoassay testing brought bench-proven technology to ITL for development into a POC testing device. The system concept included a bench top portable reader and a single use disposable cartridge which is also the primary sample collection device. By reducing electronic noise and isolating the sensor from acoustic and vibration interference an exquisitely sensitive prototype system was developed. The project is progressing towards volume manufacture.
