In Vivo Diagnostic Device

ITL have completed a development phase and generated prototype devices for a novel diagnostic device used in the identification of sentinel lymph nodes in breast cancer surgery. The device is a highly sensitive hand-held magnetic detection system which tracks the path of magnetic dye used to trace the sentinel node lymph pathway related to the tumor, eliminating the use of radioactive tracers.
